Kristin DeCesare

Owner and founder of ConfiDance by Kristin (CDK), Kristin has carefully curated a team of amazing instructors who embody the ConfiDance/CDK method. Kristin and her team teach this unique method, which encourages children & adults to feel empowered by self-love and confidence while learning how to connect their mind & body to dance and follow their joy.

Kristin is a professional dancer, choreographer, creative director, producer and educator. She toured the world with Pitbull as one of his featured dancers & later creative director and has danced alongside several A-list artists including Jennifer Lopez, Ne-yo, 50 Cent, Marc Anthony, Chris Brown, Becky G, Maluma, Thalia amongst many others. She has performed on the stages of award & television shows; The Grammy Awards, SNL, Dancing With The Stars, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The View, Good Morning America, American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, Country Music Awards, VH1 Divas Live, American Idol, & countless others & has appeared in an array of hit music videos including Fireball & Timber. She has choreographed, coached & consulted for NBA & MLB dance teams; NY Knicks, Chicago Bulls & Miami Marlins and has been fortunate to work alongside Broadway Director, Jerry Mitchell. She was also a NY Knicks City Dancer and Towson University Dance Team alumni.

In addition to her achievements in the world of dance, she also holds a Master's Degree in Education. Since retiring from professional dancing, she has combined her love of dance with her passion for teaching. Kristin strives to create an environment that will not only hone a child's dancing skills but also instill confidence and self-love through positive movement-based affirmations. It is this mission that inspired Kristin's term ConfiDance.

Kristin has a passion for helping others align with their true self. In her latest exploration of healing arts, Kristin studied and obtained certifications in Breathwork, Reiki, Sound healing and is also a certified Pilates & barre instructor.

Brianna Pavon | LA

AFFIRMATION: “The light in me honors the light in you”

From New Orleans, Louisiana, Brianna Pavon grew up riding horses, sailing, playing sports, and hand-sewing dresses. Brianna trained at age 15 in all dance styles and quickly discovered a passion for performing. After enrolling at LSU for a bachelor's degree in fashion, she changed her path, transferring to PACE University in NYC to earn her bachelor's degree in fine arts. After graduating, Brianna moved to LA to pursue dancing professionally, where Bloc Talent Agency currently represents her. Since then, she has been seen on multiple world tours, feature films, commercials, music videos, and more. Brianna has worked with musical artists such as Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Mary J Blige, P!nk, Dua Lipa, Mariah Carey, and more. She has been featured in films such as Babylon and Valley Girl and television series such as American Horror Story and Step Into the Movies. Brianna has also done several commercials for brands such as Gucci, Google, Target, and McDonald's. Working alongside top directors and choreographers, Brianna is often called on to integrate her keen eye for fashion into her dance work by providing wardrobe styling for the jobs. Additionally, Brianna is a member of Dana Foglia Dance, a prestigious Contemporary fusion dance company whose work has seen stages worldwide, including Amsterdam, Japan, London, Spain, and New Zealand. Dana Foglia Dance can also be seen accompanying many of Beyoncé's live performances and visual albums. Currently on Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour.

Jannet Galdamez | LA

AFFIRMATION: "Follow your heart in alignment to your why... remember to lead with deep intention and love"

Jannet is a dance artist born, raised, and based in Los Angeles, CA. Her love for dance and music began at a very young age through social, street, family settings. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and minor in Education from the University of California Irvine June of 2012 training intensively in jazz, improvisation, modern and ballet. And has been profoundly studying salsa for the last 20 years and Afro-Cuban dance, music, and culture for the last 15 years and she continues to dive deep in her studies of various dance forms inside the Latin and African Diaspora. Jannet has danced with Paula Abdul, Spanish Rock Band Mana, Prince Royce, Keaira LaShea's Dance Fitness Series, Maite Perroni, El Dasa, Luis Coronel, Chiquis Rivera, Ozomatli, La Sonora Santanera from Mexico City, Los Angeles based Cuban Roots Band Changui Majadero, Chicano Band Las Cafeteras, and the 2017 ON YOUR FEET Broadway Musical Promo Cast. As she continues to perform, tour, and deepen in her practice... teaching and engaging with youth and community of all ages has continued to be a huge part of her journey. Throughout her career she has led group fitness/wellness dance classes, shared musical theatre dance for many years through PAW (an award winning summer camp and after school performing arts program working with youth between 4 to 14 years old through this program), volunteered and worked closely as a teaching artist and behind the scenes with The Floor Improv Night and The Open Floor Society (a 501 (c) non profit organization connecting the youth with a community of professional artists, engaging in multi-cultural dance and music, using improvisation to build confidence and self empowerment), and currently teaches salsa, rueda de casino, afro-cuban dance, rhythm play, creative movement, etc. independently and through the different organizations and companies she is a part of. Jannet is currently the rehearsal and programming director, teaching and dance artivist with CONTRA-TIEMPO Activist Dance Theater (a company she has been working with for a bit over 10 years dedicated to transforming the world through dance, building community, facilitating dialogue, and moving audiences to imagine what is possible) while simultaneously dancing with Kimbambula Cuban Dance Ensemble (an ensemble and program dedicated to educating, empowering, healing through the afro-cuban dance diaspora) directed by Cuban Master Kati Hernadez and touring with Spanish Guitarist, Roni Benise’s Emmy Award Winning World Music and Dance Spectacular. She is continuing to expand and grow as a teaching artist through these organizations and companies as well as through the practice and focused training of Embodiology led by Dr. S. Ama Wray which is a practice that provides targeted movement training to improve mental alertness and wellness, enhancing wellbeing through movement and breath. Jannet continues to blossom in her versatility as a dance artist... always grounded with the beat of a drum and with deep gratitude for her teachers, mentors, and elders. She is passionate about her journey - a journey guided by love, balance, connection, gratitude and rooted in celebrating and uplifting cultural and ancestral roots, community-building, self-discovery and self-empowerment through dance.

Erica Lawless | LA

AFFIRMATION: “I surround myself with positivity and embrace new life opportunities.”

Erica began her movement training in gymnastics at the age of 3 before joining dance teams in elementary school and discovering her passion for performing.  At the age of 9, she started her formal training in Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, and Hip Hop and competed for her local dance studio.  She joined the cheer squad in high school where she enjoyed being the flyer and also assisted with choreography.  Erica continued to find opportunities to perform throughout her college years at Loyola Marymount University, enrolling in classes with some of the top choreographers in Los Angeles and dancing in multiple cultural shows on campus.  She then worked for a civil rights advocacy non-profit while continuing to teach dance at her home studio.  Erica is also a certified Pilates instructor and has been training multi-level clients since 2014.  She continues to perform for Los Angeles based entertainment companies that focus on a variety of styles, disciplines and clientele.  Her favorite part about performing is the exchange of energy between the audience and performers and feels lucky to continue pursue her passion. Erica has danced for J Balvin, Reik, Sergio Mendes, Young the Giant, Weird Al, Fluffy, Masked Singer, Estrella TV and MGM Grand Las Vegas. 

Angelina Mannarino | LA

AFFIRMATION: “My possibilities are endless”

Angelina has been dancing since the young age of 2! Originally from Albany NY, Angelina has more recently relocated to Los Angeles to continue her passion and dance career! Upon moving West she was immediately signed to a major dance agency, GO2TALENT Agency, and has continued her training in LA at various renowned LA dance studios; Millennium Dance Complex, Playground among others, and is quickly catching the eyes of many in the industry. She has danced in a variety of styles; specializing in hip-hop, commercial jazz, and jazz-funk. She has been traveling with the highly prestigious Tremaine Dance Company for four years.

Teaching dance is innate for Angelia, as her mom was a dance instructor & also the owner of The Drop In, where Angie was a dance instructor as well. She is a celebrity instructor and has taught dance to a variety of kids of all ages. She also has experience teaching dance to kids with special needs. Angelina believes that dance can be for everyone and she enjoys teaching and sharing her passion with others.

Barbara “Barby” Moscoso | LA

AFFIRMATION: “Shine with your own light and let creation flow”

Barbara "Barby" Moscoso was born in Santiago, Chile. She received a Bachelors Degree in Dance and Choreography from UNIACC, after 4 years of intense study of numerous dance styles and the technical aspects of production. Barby moved to Miami in 2014 and decided to expand her career to Los Angeles in 2016 with her agent, Go 2 Talent. Barby has performed in numerous award shows including Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, Fiebre de Baile, American Music Awards, Latin Grammys, Latin Billboard Awards, Premios Juventud, Premios Lo Nuestro, Premios Tu Mundo. In total, Barby has danced in more than 50 countries on multiple tours. Barby toured the world with artists such Maluma, Luis Fonsi, Farruko, Wisin & Yandel and Zion & Lennox. In addition to performing in multiple countries she has also performed at important artistic venues including Madison Square Garden, the Coliseo of Puerto Rico, the Staples Center, Radio City Music Hall, and the American Airlines Arena in Miami. Additionally, Barby continues to teach dance to people of all ages and has taught master dance classes across the globe. She is excited to teach with ConfiDance and inspire others.

Lea Crigger | LA

AFFIRMATION: “I am fearless. I am inhaling confidence. I am accepting myself unconditionally. ”

Lea moved from Northern Virginia to Miami Florida to extend and share her love for dance to inspire others. Lea has been dancing for about 11 years now, being a Rhythmic and Sports aerobics gymnast 7 years prior from her dancing career. She studied and trained in many genres of dance such as modern, hip hop, ballet, contemporary, jazz, stage performance, etc. Her back-round in this industry includes training and excelling at dance conventions, studio classes, assisting mentors, instructing dance classes, performing professionally, and being accepted at the Performing Arts of Dance program at her high school. When in high school, she excelled her passion for dance professionally by backup dancing for local artists in the DC area while instructing dance lessons to all ages from 2-62 years old. She furthers her dancing career by being a Miami Heat Dancer and working with many billboard latin artists such as Nicky Jam, Daddy Yankee, Becky G, Don Omar, Natti Natasha, DJ Nelson, Nio Garcia, Manuel Turizo, Wisin & Yandel, etc. Aside from dance, Lea is invested in the fitness and nutritional route. Therefore, she is on her way to receiving her pure barre, yoga, and pilates certification to not only grow physically but mentally. Lea's love for the youth is so affectionate, she hopes to continue to inspire others to put themselves first and find that spark in your confidence.

Klaudia Jaimes | LA

AFFIRMATION: “What is for me, shall not pass me. All that I need comes to me at the right time and place in life. ”

Klaudia is currently chasing her dreams in Los Angeles! Originally from Chicago, Klaudia was a part of the Chicago Bulls dance team and performed on the court at the United Center for five years! During this time, she was selected and sent to São Paulo, Brazil, to represent the Chicago Bulls during the 2019 NBA Finals, and featured throughout the 2020 NBA All-Star Games. Klaudia has performed alongside artists such as Coolio, Armin Van Buuren, T-Pain, Lil Wayne, and Louis the Child. She recently performed in Medellín, Colombia, where she danced on tour with Nicky Jam!

Klaudia completed her Bachelor's in Education with a minor in English as a Second Language from Depaul University. She is certified to teach Kindergarten through sixth grades. Klaudia has also taught dance to kids ages 3-16 for the past five years.

Additionally, Klaudia was raised in a multilingual household and is trilingual. Having this multicultural background motivated her to get certified in teaching bilingual students. She became inspired to teach at a young age and her goal is to create a safe and welcoming learning environment regardless of any outside factors children might experience.
